Luke White

White signed with the Hounds for the 2023 season and appeared in 12 contests (12 starts) and played 847 minutes. He scored three tries on 129 carries while gaining 671 meters (5.2 MPC). The forward completed 108 of his 121 tackle attempts.

The MLR veteran enters the 2024 season with 65 career appearances, including 53 starts and over 4,000 total minutes played. He scored nine tries, totaling 45 points, and gained 3,151 meters on 536 carries. He’s completed 542 of his 613 tackle attempts. This past summer, White earned his first cap for the United States national team, a decisive win over Romania.

White initially entered MLR in 2018 with the Colorado Raptors, primarily featured in the front row as a loosehead prop before converting to the second row in 2019. The Sydney, Australia native spent the last two seasons in Los Angeles with the Giltinis.

White made 14 appearances for Los Angeles in 2022, playing a total of 868 minutes and finishing the season with 106 carries for 563 meters gained (5.3 MPC) with 108 tackles on his 122 attempts.

The forward made seven appearances for the Giltinis in 2021, their title-winning campaign. On the year, White made 52 of his 55 tackle attempts and gained 180 meters on his 30 ball carries. He was on the field for just under 360 minutes. White was the captain of the Colorado Raptors in the shortened 2020 season and made five appearances for the former MLR franchise that year.

White enjoyed his most successful season to date back in 2019, when he appeared in 16 matches for Colorado and ran for 1,159 meters on his 180 carries (6.4 MPC). He scored three tries on the year and was credited with 159 completed tackles from his 176 tackle attempts. He finished 2019 with six line breaks and four broken tackles.
