Caolan Dooley

Dooley, a native of Limerick’s Newcastle West, moves to Chicago after spending the three previous seasons with Terenure College competing in the All-Ireland-League. Terenure won the competition last season, beating Clontarf in the championship game, 50-24.

Dooley’s performance in the championship match made headlines across the Ireland rugby community. The Limerick man finished the day with 30 points off of the kicking tee. He hit all eight of his penalty attempts and went three for four on his conversion attempts. Dooley’s lone miss of the day hit the post. His performance led Terenure to their first ever AIL championship.

In addition to winning man of the match honors in the championship, Dooley capped off the season with the AIL Player of the Season award.

Prior to Terenure, Dooley was a standout player for Glenstal Abbey. He featured for the team in their 2018 Munster Schools Senior Cup championship game, a win over Cork’s Christian Brothers College.
